HCP: THE TECHNIQUE

The HCP heat sink is made of extruded aluminium, an unsurpassed material for lightness, resistance and heat dissipation capacity. To reduce the size, the power transistors are arranged between the PCB and the upper part of the chassis which collects the heat, from there this is then transferred to the lateral surfaces, equipped with fins, to be disposed of.

The Front End section, equipped with a complete and excludable crossover system to allow connection with the processors, preamplified outputs with crossover on HCP 1D and multiple adjustments, offers the user infinite possibilities of system connections, for any configuration and with any source .

The inputs, the pride of the Hertz R&D area, are available both on RCA connections for the preamplified connection (Pre-In) with aftermarket car radios, and on high-level connections (Speaker-In) for the connection with the audio source. series integrated into the car.

The Pre-In and Speaker-In inputs are equipped with special balanced circuitry which guarantees high rejection of electromagnetic interference typical of the car environment, guaranteeing noise-free acoustic results.

7. Bass Boost (50 Hz) continuously adjustable from 0 dB to 6 dB, for more bass

deep.

8. Full-range and Lo-Pass crossover filters with 24 dB/Oct slope. and frequency

variable (from 50 Hz to 250 Hz) selectable, for greater versatility

application in the creation of active systems.

9. SUBSONIC filter (24 dB – 25 Hz) to remove subsonic frequencies

very low levels from the music signal which could cause damage to the subwoofer.

10. Variable phase control with continuity from 0-180° for optimization

the alignment of the low frequencies of the woofer with those of the subwoofer.

11. Optional Remote Volume Control (HRC), to adjust the volume level

of the subwoofer directly from the passenger compartment.
