Hertz CK 165 two-way speaker system from the new Cento series, composed of: pair of 165mm woofers, pair of 26mm tweeters and dedicated crossovers

Excellent balance between lightness and damping, essential for a powerful and controlled emission. The woofer's oversized ferrite magnet provides excellent control even at the highest excursions.

The ultra-compact CCX 2 crossover with tweeter output level control (0, +3 dB) uses selected components for a full, immersive sound.

Characteristics of the components of the Hertz CK 165 kit

Tweeter C 26:

1. Large 26 mm Tetolon fiber soft dome and 20 mm voice coil, for natural yet detailed reproduction of musical nuances.

2. Neodymium magnet with high-density magnetic flux, optimized for maximum control during high-energy dynamic transients in the mid-to-high frequency range.

3. Faceplate geometry optimized with FEM (Finite Element Modeling) technique for linear frequency response in off-axis installations.

4. Wide range of accessories, for easy integration into the setup.

Woofer C 165:

1. 165 mm SPP-M (Semi Pressed Paper-Mica) semi-pressed paper cone enriched with Mica powder for an excellent balance between lightness and damping.

2. High flux density ferrite magnet combined with low carbon pole plates, for less distortion at high power levels.

3. 25 mm coil with aluminum former to guarantee high excursion and power handling.

4. Compact and acoustically transparent three-spoke basket combined with a rubber magnet cover for total dampening of spurious vibrations.

5. Elegant grille with high resistance ABS plastic structure with metallic finish combined with a protective metal mesh.

CCX 2 Crossover:

1. Tweeter level adjustment via two-position switch (0, +3 dB) for optimal timbral balance that can be customized by the user.

2. Low loss factor capacitors and low resistance pure copper inductors, for maximum sound transparency and clear high frequencies.

3. Ultra-compact design for ease of installation, with air vents for efficient heat dissipation.
