Pair of 2-way passive crossovers, bi-amplifiable.

Dedicated for the new Hertz Mille series:

• ML 1650.3 + ML 280.3
• ML 1800.3 + ML 280.3

Characteristics:

1. 1. Bi-amplification capability, selectable through a dedicated switch with high current capacity.
2. 2. Two-position “Mid-Countour” control to linearize the mid-low frequency response based on the placement of the woofers in the passenger compartment and the listener's preferred sound.
3. 3. Two-position “Hi-Countour” control to linearize the high frequency response based on the placement of the tweeters in the passenger compartment and the listener's preferred sound.
4. 4. The “Mid-Contour” together with the “Hi-Contour” allows you to use the MLCX 2 TW.3 to build a two-way system based on the ML 1650.3 or ML 1800.3 woofers together with the ML 280.3 tweeter.
5. 5. Three-position tweeter sensitivity control, with attenuation in 2 dB steps via selector, to finely calibrate the transducer's emission.
6. 6. “Hi-Boost” control can be activated via selector to provide a more linear tweeter emission above 10 kHz, when it is positioned off-axis with the listeners.
7. 7. Highest quality 160v bi-metallized polyester film capacitors, with an ultra-low DF value, for maximum sound transparency and detailed mid-high frequencies.
8. 8. Inductors made with air-wound coils of 1mm diameter pure copper wire, for a high magnetic flux saturation threshold and low losses in areas of the woofer where high transient currents are required.
9. 9. High power wirewound resistors, to ensure maximum performance stability even at high temperatures of use. The Wirewound construction allows for low parasitic inductance in series to reduce loss at high frequencies, especially for resistors in series with the tweeter.
