HP 802 is a class AB stereo amplifier that can deliver up to 1800W. The power supply stage has an oversized layout to guarantee solidity, power and reliability even with prolonged use over time. The output stage is supplied by an oversized power supply with 4 toroidal transformers, which allow it to deliver considerable power and work stably on loads of 1 Ohm. The filter equipment is unusually complex, above the standards of electronics in this category: separate Hi-Pass and Lo-Pass filters, which together form a Band-Pass filter adjustable from 50 Hz to 10k Hz, parametric equalizer for the response optimization on amplified channels. A pre-out output for relaying the signal to another identical amplifier allows the creation of a multi-amplified audio system without limitation in the number of ways.
