Hertz H8 DSP car audio processor is able to interface with any analogue and/or digital source, transforming normal "audio" into a high-performance system. The simple and intuitive computer software ensures a wide range of adjustments to improve the acoustic response of a complex environment such as the car compartment. H8 DSP provides 7 signal inputs with a variety of connection options: four high-level inputs, also accepting pre-amplified low-level signals; a stereo auxiliary input and an optical digital input for signals at a sampling rate of up to 96/24 bit.

The optical digital input cancels interference and signal deterioration also by-passing the analog A/D signal conversion stages. Thanks to the configuration wizard provided by the software during set-up, the H8 DSP can automatically summarize the backup multiple filtered channels (e.g., woofer plus tweeter), "flatten" the OEM source equalizes response curve and reconstruct a center, rear and/or subwoofer channel with a simple stereo input.
