What is it for:

Necessary for connecting after-market car radios with ISO connectors to the vehicle's original ISO-type car radio connector. It is in fact an extension from ISO to ISO useful if it is necessary to make electrical modifications to the original connector or to the one supplied with the car radio. In this case, it will be possible to modify our cable and avoid altering the original cables.

Technical Notes:

Usually each car manufacturer uses one or more specific connectors for connecting the power supply, speakers and any accessory services (such as displays, USB inputs, steering wheel controls, etc.) with the original radio. After-market car radios, however, follow the ISO 10487 standard for electrical connections and amplified outputs directed to the speakers installed inside the vehicle.

If you want to replace the standard radio with an after-market one, it is necessary to use an adapter cable that acts as an "interface" between the new radio and the original vehicle cables.
